Today we were called out to a house in Basingstoke where they had some weird scratching noises in the cavity wall?? A rat? Or maybe a mouse?? Could it be a bird? We searched high and low for an entry point into the wall to no avail. It was decided a rescue attempt must be made through the wall. So after cutting a small hole we were able to coax a beautiful small male starling out to safety. He must have slipped down the cavity whilst exploring the loft. When released he flew away easily without any assistance. A very happy ending. Check out our video.
